Often, we continue north, motoring up steep hills, passing roads to Friar’s Bay and Pic Paradise, descending into grassy pastures on the north side of the island to spend the day at Orient Beach. On this route, we drive by a flat, white  building on the top of a busy hill, with a sign that says  “ART – Minguet — ART GALLERY” — but we had never stopped.

Until this year.

It is a building you may notice, but just briefly, as you whisk by it so quickly in the heavy two lane traffic — you need to pay attention here, both hands on the wheel and focused straight ahead, as there are often accidents and road hazards along this narrow and hilly stretch of road.
