Rineke DijkstraHonFRPS (born 2 June 1959) is a Dutch photographer.
She lives and works in Amsterdam.[1] Dijkstra has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society,[2] the 1999 Citibank Private Bank Photography Prize (now Deutsche Börse Photography Prize)[3] and the 2017 Hasselblad Award.[4]

Dijkstra was born June 2, 1959, in Sittard, the Netherlands.[5][6] She attended the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam from 1981 to 1986.
